Who we are

What we collect when you lock your spot
- Your email address.
- Your answers: your DAW, your computer, your Live edition, and the tier you picked.
- That you accepted the beta license, and when.
- Your IP address and your browser/device info (the "user agent").
What we collect when you download
The time, IP address and device info of each download, and which build it was. That's how we give you three downloads per build and make sure a tap on your phone doesn't use one up.
What MIXSTEIN (the software) collects
Nothing:
- It runs on your Mac. Your audio and your sessions never leave your computer.
- There's no account, no analytics, and it doesn't phone home.
- Beta builds stop working on a date that's built into them, and that check happens on your machine.
What we use your info for
- Holding your founding price and putting you in the right wave.
- Sending your download link and install notes.
- Telling you about new builds and when the beta ends. Billing only ever starts after we've told you.
- Keeping download links from being abused.
We don't use it for anything else.
Who else touches it
- Our server: a rented server (GoDaddy, in the US) runs this site and stores the sign-up list.
- Email: we send from contact@touchtonedsg.com through our hosting provider's mail relay. A copy of each sign-up email comes to our own inbox.
- Video: the home page shows a YouTube thumbnail. The video itself loads only if you press play (YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode), and Google's privacy policy covers it.
- Instagram: if you reach us by commenting on Instagram, that conversation lives in Instagram and in the inbox tool we use to answer it (ManyChat).
We don't sell or rent your information. There are no ad trackers, analytics or cookies on mixstein.com, and its fonts are served from our own server.
How long we keep it
- Your sign-up stays as long as your spot is locked, because that's how we honor your price.
- Technical logs are deleted after 14 days. That covers the web server's record of page visits, and our sign-up system's record of each form it processed.
- Ask and we'll delete your sign-up. That also releases your spot.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your info, or object to how we use it. Email contact@touchtonedsg.com and we'll answer within 30 days.
If you're in the EEA or the UK, we use your info to give you the beta you signed up for, and to keep downloads secure. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Where it's stored
In the United States. If you're outside the US, your info is transferred there to run the beta you signed up for.
Kids
MIXSTEIN isn't meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes. If something big changes, we'll email you.
